Adult Faith Enrichment

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
The heart of our parish vision is rooted in these goals:
- empowering adults to consciously grow as disciples throughout their lives, through experience, reflection, prayer and study.
- nurturing a profound, lifelong conversion of the whole person through catechesis which emphasizes a comprehensive, contemporary synthesis of faith
- developing in adults personal and spiritual growth through sharing their faith journey and interacting with others so that God's action in their lives can be seen.
- fostering in adults a lived faith grounded in a commitment to Jesus Christ and his message.

Formation and education of adults in the Catholic faith occurs in numerous ways:

• - Sunday liturgy participation especially the priests' homilies which move and transform hearts
• - sessions on the Catechism of the Catholic Church held weekly
• - prayer experiences for Religious Education parents held weekly
• - Tuesdays at Prayer held one Tuesday/month
• - seasonal faith sharing groups
• - retreats for adults held 2-3 times/year
• - participation in outreach i.e. Mexico Mission, feeding the homeless
• - centering prayer gatherings
• - Baptism preparation for parents
